Client List

Our clients are organisations of all sizes, in all sectors, all over the world.

Probably the only thing they all have in common (besides being lovely people) is a desire for continuous improvement of their systems and processes to keep their operations running at the peak of efficiency.

Village Green Preserves , a family-run food producer in Yorkshire. We developed software to run the whole sales, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics operation of this small factory and its 25 staff. Production is scheduled automatically to make the best use of machine time, make use of ingredients with a short shelf-life and minimise waste. A high-end stock control system ensures economical purchase and constant availability of ingredients and packaging – all of which are fully traceable by their batch numbers through the whole process. Meanwhile, touchscreens on the factory floor instruct staff in the exact recipes and methods for making over 200 products, and gather all-important quality control data.

Computer Aid, a charity in North London that provides refurbished computer equipment for use in the developing world. We developed software to manage the entire operation: equipment collection, refurbishment, barcoding & asset tracking, international container shipping and fundraising.

More Carrino Flooring, a major flooring supplier and contractor in Bedfordshire. Our software supports all the operations of the business, from tendering for major construction projects through purchasing, stock control and logistics to ongoing project management and monitoring the work of subcontractors. The system is specifically engineered to cope with the unusual financial and taxation procedures in the UK construction industry.                      Read More

AIT Partnership Group, a value-added IT reseller in Reading. Our software manages all the day-to-day operations of the business including prospecting and lead generation, sales order processing, purchasing, stock control, returns and repairs, scheduling engineer time, invoicing, and credit control. Recently we have expanded the system to reflect the company’s growing focus on offering services such as installation and maintainance with its products.

Burges Salmon, a top law firm in Bristol. We developed some highly specialised software for a team of lawyers dealing with areas of unowned land that are the responsibility of the Crown. The system holds details of these areas and the many colloquial names by which they are known, and deals with the ongoing process of managing enquiries relating to them.

ArtSpec, a specialist art and antiques insurer in Brussels. Our software catalogues the inventory of high-value assets insured for private clients across the UK and Europe. The system holds valuations going back over 20 years – many in obsolete currencies – which are used to calculate insurance premiums. Complex but very elegant reports are generated, which add value to clients’ collections. Planned developments include giving clients access to view and amend their collections online, using software compatible with the iPad.

Zone Creations, a bespoke product designer and fabricator in South London. We have developed software for the detailed recording of job specifications, purchasing, production scheduling and invoicing. An unusual feature is that all unused offcuts of sheet or block material are barcoded and their size and specification recorded. This allows the system to reduce the production cost of future jobs by specifying when there is a suitable offcut that can be used, even if the material was bought for a job several years previously.

Arnots, a family-run painting and decorating retailer in Surrey. On analysing the needs of this family business we established that many, but not all, of their software requirements could be met by off-the-peg software. We supplied, configured and installed the software – then set about building our own customised extensions to it, allowing them to address the particular needs of their account-holding customers and clients (including Buckingham Palace to whom they also offer a subcontracted painting and decorating service).

More  Think Jam, a creative media, design and PR agency in London and Los Angeles. We have vastly increased the scope of some existing software that controlled account management functions within the business. The software is now much more robust and functional, having been extended to include improved financial reporting, a human resources system, company-wide task management and time logging. Read More

More  Pretty Greek Villas, a holiday villa lettings company in Greece. Our software manages all the villa bookings, travel arrangements for holidaymakers, dealings with villa owners and all the company finances. A recent enhancement was to make the system process centrally all inbound and outbound email. We are currently making the necessary alterations that will allow our client to trade in Germany’s tourist marketplace as well as appealing to visitors from the UK.       Read More

Patricia McMahon, a photographers’ agent in London and New York. Our software controls the bookings of photographers, crew and related production services. As well as managing marketing, estimating and the movements of portfolios, it helps to alleviate the headaches involved in getting people, equipment and props to the location of a shoot on time and with the minimum expense.

DKA, an architect’s practice in Bath. We took over the development and support of some existing FileMaker software that manages the whole operations of the practice, including project management, the storage and retrieval of plans and other documents, and the centralised filing and processing of email. Plans to develop the system include making areas of it available to clients and other members of the design and construction team.

Young Actors Theatre Islington, a community theatre school in Central London. Our software manages the memberships of local children and young adults, their attendance at weekly classes and their progress each term. It includes a touchscreen-based system for the reception area, which enables the taking of attendance fees, and provides a fast and easy way to book eager participants in to classes with the minimum of queuing.
