Print production and purchasing tool
A publisher approached us requiring a quicker and more reliable method of communication with their new print suppliers. We developed new business processes supported by a system to automate all the record-keeping.
Management reports provide day-to-day production data (with names, dates, times and costs) and valuable information about which production problems occur most frequently: these can be addressed as priorities to save future time and money.
The only paperwork left in the system is the print jobs themselves!
Insurers' inventory cataloguing and reporting
A tool was required to keep a detailed inventory of clients' insured property, with valuations spanning several years in many currencies.
Security was of paramount importance in designing and building the system. Strict access controls and robust encryption methods were employed throughout. The data storage is also compartmentalised in such a way that no one security breach could provide an attacker with information that could put the business or its clients at risk.
