The latest version of the award-winning FileMaker platform has launched! Version 17 of the platform includes everything needed to create, share and run custom apps for business teams that work across iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac and the web. Decent Group uses the FileMaker platform to help simplify the design and delivery of custom apps for mobile, cloud and on-premises deployments.
Looking to upgrade to the new FileMaker 17?
If you are running an older version of FileMaker, now is the time to get your software updated to the FileMaker 17 platform, which provides the latest improvements in performance, security, and OS compatibility.
We can help you ensure a smooth installation get in touch today. (If you wish to perform upgrades yourself, please let us know prior to doing so, as there may be compatibility issues to be borne in mind before an upgrade is planned.)
Your FileMaker licence
Your FileMaker installation may be covered by an annual licence agreement, in which case you will already be licensed to use a newer version at no extra cost. If you are not sure whether this applies to you, please contact us and we can find out.
Still using FileMaker 14 or older?
FileMaker 14 and older versions will continue to work, and Decent Group will continue to support them as far as possible. However as FileMaker Inc will cease to support versions 14 or older, we will be unable to call upon their assistance should we need it, and vital security updates may not be provided. There will come a time where it is not possible to install older versions on replacement or additional machines.
Not yet using the FileMaker platform?
FileMaker has a well-deserved reputation as a platform that’s scalable, flexible, reliable and offers good ROI. The Decent Group team is FileMaker certified and has been working with FileMaker for over 20 years on migrations and new builds.
We work with clients from a wide range of sectors including manufacturers, architects, engineers, design agencies and service businesses of all kinds. Many Decent Group clients come to us when their existing systems have reached the end of their lifecycle, are no longer supported, don’t offer mobile and remote working, or simply don’t offer the efficiency and effectiveness that a well-designed and properly implemented FileMaker system can bring.
