GDPR – changes in data protection law
From 25 May 2018 a new data protection law (the General Data Protection Regulation) will come into force. GDPR places new duties on both Data Controllers (possibly you) and Data Processors (us, at least for some of our customers) and fines for breaches are greatly increased to 4% of global turnover or €20 million, whichever is greater. Your business needs to be compliant.
We can help your business become GDPR compliant
The strict requirements of GDPR affect every business that stores personally-identifiable data in its systems. The FileMaker platform, if properly deployed, provides tools and resources to help you achieve GDPR compliance.
In partnership with cyber security consultants Cardinia, we can conduct an audit of your systems and wider procedures to assess your GDPR compliance, and support you with taking any remedial steps you need. Contact us on info@decentgroup.co.uk or 01793 250 198.
