Decent Group has been using FileMaker for over 20 years. As well as providing bespoke FileMaker development, we also provide bespoke FileMaker training and support.
Training can be to an individual or to a group, at your premises or ours. Content can be tailored as you wish, covering specific areas or providing a more general FileMaker overview. If you are learning FileMaker, trying to complete your own FileMaker database or wish to learn the art of building quality systems using FileMaker; we have the facilities, capabilities, and developers to help you with FileMaker and its tools and how to use FileMaker efficiently and effectively for your business.
Decent Group FileMaker training can be a one-off session or a set of training days. We also provide mentoring, where one of our highly experienced trainers will oversee your work on an ongoing basis (generally monthly).
We have taught many pupils how to build FileMaker applications, we understand FileMaker completely and we are always on hand to teach and problem solve. It may be the case that your small and simple system which you built yourself needs an extra helping hand to complete the new idea or function that you wish to introduce.
Decent Group is also very experienced at supporting your FileMaker system, providing a hassle-free, reliable and professional service.

Here’s just one of the clients we helped, and here’s what he had to say about his experience of working with us:
Mark Segasby – LightMap
“I have used FileMaker on and off for a long time. But I couldn’t make FileMaker do what I wanted, so contacted Decent for help. James worked on my FileMaker file in a web meeting session and worked wonders on my data. Seeing James in action made me realise that if you want a job doing properly, find an expert. If I studied FileMaker full-time for a year, I couldn’t have achieved what James did in a few minutes – it was awesome. It was a pleasure dealing with Decent and I can’t wait to set them another challenge!”
